Opolis Secure E-Mail Account Setup Procedure

What you need to have

  • A personal valid E-Mail Address other than from a free provider, such as Yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail
  • Windows XP/Vista or 7; Apple OS X 10.5 or 10.6

What you need to do – Please read carefully or watch the Setup Video

  1. Freely choose your personal Opolis Log In Name (minimum of 8 letters / digits)
  2. Submit a personal valid E-Mail Address (other than from a free provider)
  3. Download the Opolis Mail Client (and save it at a place you easily remember)
  4. Copy and paste the Setup Log In Name – an alpha-numerical combination – sent to your personal E-Mail Address into the Opolis Log In window. You will only need this Mail Code once and then never again
  5. Copy and paste the Setup Password – an alpha-numerical combination – displayed on the Opolis website into the Opolis Log In window. You will only need this Web Code once and then never again
  6. Provide some details to create a Certificate (to encode any ongoing and future data transfer)
  7. Freely choose your personal Opolis Password
